WAHE is a Christian support group for homeschooling families in the greater Wausau area. This group is made up of about 60-70 homeschooling families. A typical activity day is Thursday afternoons. Throughout the year WAHE facilitates many activities, such as: soccer, kickball, volleyball, flag-football, bowling, downhill skiing, sledding, Spelling Bee, ice-skating, Geography/History/Science Fairs, Track and Field day, picnics, theater performances, as well as many opportunities for special classes and field trips.
If you are new to homeschooling, or a new homeschooling family in the area, or a long-term homeschooling family just looking for a place to meet new friends, then WAHE is the group for you.
