Violin Academy: The Curry Method

Many years of teaching children and adults to play their Violin and Viola have brought me a unique understanding. Simply put, I’ve learned that a special process and connectedness evolves between us. I call that unique process The Curry Method.

The Curry Method evolves from my constant awareness of the complex interactions between my students, their instruments and me. My method enables me to build a consistent musical foundation in my students. They carry that foundation on their musical travels as they move from their first “Twinkle” all the way through to the complexity of a major Concerto.

The musical foundation I develop with my students is co-created, interactive, and highly individualized. It enables them to know the joy of making music and inculcates a life long love of music as well.
