The Little Art School is in Downtown Bloomington, Illinois. The physical space is unique and charming and set up for productivity as well as relaxation. The teachers are well qualified, enthusiastic, and patient. Dr. Daniella Barroqueiro, the founder and director of The Little Art School, has been a professor of Art Education at Illinois State University for over 20 years. Daniella has recently retired from ISU to focus on The Little Art School full time. She is offering weekday mornings for home schooled individuals and groups to schedule studio time to work on their own projects, to take classes that relate to their curriculum and to simply make art for art’s sake, both teacher-directed and self-guided.
The Little Art School is invites you homeschooling families to tour the studio and discuss your goals, interests, and values, and the kind of art education you envision for your children.
What makes The Little Art School special is how they customize the art experience to the specific students in their classes. They also welcome the challenge of taking content from the homeschooling curriculum and building an art lesson around it. Contact the school to arrange a meeting and to discuss the possibilities of enriching art experiences for your children.
