Field Trips are a great way to get out and explore! We offer many resources at the Alaska Zoo. We have a Self-Guided Safari so you can go at your own pace. Zoo School is another option and is led by one of our zoo educators in our classroom at the zoo. These 45–60-minute classes engage your students through standards-based lessons that create a connection between curriculum and the wildlife of the Alaska Zoo. Our final option is Creative Crew at the Zoo! Use your creative talents to observe, learn and create the animals of the Alaska Zoo through art. Students will learn about a focus species (moose or muskox) and their inspiration will show through their artistic creation.
