Our center provides dyslexia intervention for dyslexic students, while teaching them ELA and Math in a way that they understand and can learn. We have had a homeschool tutorial for 6 years serving all ages from first grade through Middle school. Many of our students are two or more grade levels behind. Certified teacher and dyslexic specialist work with student privately and in small groups to build there confidence and knowledge of reading, writing, comprehension, math and more. We use a creative teaching style to learning with movement, fun games, and a multi sensory approach.
Our program is tailored to the needs of the individual student. Every student learns just a little differently and we work to help them see their potential. Many families use our tutorial for a growth year or two then moving to another homeschool group when their student has grown closer or at grade level. Some move to public and private schools. Not all our students are dyslexic, yet they are generally behind in academics, reading or math. It is a joy to help them achieve with a structured literacy approach (Orton-Gillingham) to reading and foundational curriculum for academic growth.
