Society of St. Andrew is a national gleaning organization. Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. SoSA organizes volunteers to glean farmers' surplus produce and that healthy, nutritious food is donated directly to local hunger relief organizations. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to come and glean! Volunteers can create a profile and sign up for a gleaning event here: https://endhunger.org/indiana/. SoSA has regional offices in the following states with opportunities: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
