Offering a really unique indoor ski and snowboard experience, teaching children and families the importance of community engagement, confidence and family. With aspirations to expand nationally, Shredder strives to make snow sports accessible to all. The mission is to develop confident and knowledgeable skiers in a fun and safe environment.
Programs split the children up into groups and do a circuit like rotation with different stations! Kids spend roughly 30-40 minutes doing a ski boot warm-up, which includes ski education, directional walking and ski related activities that include fundamentals like balance, pressure, rotary, and edging. The other 15-20 minutes will be spent doing activities such as the trampoline, balance beam, hopscotch, dodge ball, etc. The remainder of time will be left for a name game, transitioning between activities and possible sledding!
