The Phoenix HEAT was established in 2008 and became a 501(c)3 organization in 2017. It was organized to be a part of and compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) in which 18 million students per year participate. Currently, it is a 3 member all volunteer board. We require parents and guardians to volunteer. HEAT serves the home schooling community in the greater Phoenix area, providing opportunity for all children on a first-come basis so as to be inclusive for student archers of all abilities. Teaches up to 40 children per year from 4th grade through 12th grade.
