Classical Ballet classes offer a wonderful way to explore the arts through traditional and more conservative movements. Many life skills are developed in class including group work, focus, self confidence, poise and so much more. The language of ballet is French and aids in language development. There are many math concepts explored in ballet, through counting music, understanding “line” and shape, fractions, and mechanical physics. In addition to ongoing classes, Pensacola Youth Ballet Center offers open class “experiences” for your family to enjoy at no charge. This is an interactive opportunity, that allows you to view class, and try some activities yourself.
