The Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center of Hartford Hospital/Institute of Living seeks right-handed teenagers with and without ADHD to participate in an MRI-based study. This study will use functional magnetic imaging (fMRI) as well as computer and paper-and-pencil tests to measure brain function during reward-based tasks.
To qualify, teens must be 13-18 years old and free of major health or psychological problems.
Our staff will help determine eligibility and answer any questions you may have.
Volunteers will be compensated 20 dollars an hour for their time, plus bonus money for reward based tasks. Volunteers can take home a souvenir picture of their own brain. Participation in the study will take 8-10 hours total and can be split into separate visits, if desired. After school and weekend appointments are available if necessary.
