Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics has regional centers, where the students attend about a half day of studies in math and physics. The Okmulgee Regional Center is located at OSUIT. The classes occur over 2.5 hours with a 15 minute break. There is a morning and afternoon class. The classes taught are pre-calc and calculus, general physics and mechanics physics (AP). There is a remote option of watching the course on-line as well as the face to face option. It is entirely free. The program is available to homeschoolers. The education standards are high, and the program is unique for preparing students for a four year college. All students planning on a Bachelor of Science need this preparation. OSUIT credit is available for $5 per credit hour for up to 10 credits, but the subject of Mechanics AP goes beyond the junior college level to prepare students for a four year college. High school material does not adequately prepare students for college science and the junior colleges do not prepare students for the level of four year colleges. The remote students watch the class on Youtube.
