Making Math Minds offers math tutoring and home school support (both substitute teaching and math instruction) for area students in grades 1 through 8. We work to foster a deeper understanding of math concepts using real world context and connections. In keeping with the philosophy of “involve me and I understand,” we provide instruction using a student-centered, active, inquiry- and project-based learning approach and use methods that teach children important questioning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. If you are interested in learning more, please visit the website at makingmathminds.com or email makingmathminds@gmail.com. The goal is to help students of all abilities and interests learn to love math, and achieve greater success in the classroom and beyond!
