What's Old and New on Historic Route 66 is a fun half-day class on the wonders of America's oldest highway through the southwest. This presentation showcases the geography, architecture, quirky landmarks, interesting people, wildlife, foods, music, and history of Route 66. It is designed using the picture book, ABC, WHAT DO YOU SEE? ROLLING ALONG ROUTE 66, written by me.
This class integrates STEM learning as well as creative thinking. The picture book is the textbook and I embellish the content with fun media materials, brain-based learning activities, and related picture books. Don't miss this opportunity to experience historic Route 66 with an experienced author, historian, public speaker, educator, life-long learner, and advocate of America's scenic highway. This program is designed for ages 6-18. It is best for groups of 10-12 students. I travel Oct, Nov, Dec, Mar, April, and May for this program. I come to your location.
