Learning Lighthouse is a place where kids can relax and enjoy their learning experience within a multi-age, homeschool setting, and parents can contribute time, energy, and/or finances to support the ministry.
Core Academics are taught individually with a focus on understanding and mastery. Visual, hands-on, and project-based lessons are used to make learning memorable and fun. Students attend twice per week and have some practice at home to encourage long-term retention.
Enrichment and High School Electives are taught weekly and include Science, History, Life Skills, Art, PE, and 4 seasonal activities per year. These classes will include projects, research, labs, reading, and discussions. Some reading may be required in between meetings, especially at middle and high school level.
Meetings are held weekly for 30 weeks from August - May on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 - 1:30.
