The Career fair provides a tremendous opportunity for attendees to meet representatives from law enforcement, criminal justice, corrections, and higher education to learn about careers and educational opportunities in this profession and the required training and education. Representatives from local, county and state and federal law enforcement, criminal justice, correction agencies and higher education intuitions will recruit and provide information on job openings and educational requirements. This event is open and free to the public.
LEO is an organization that is dedicated to promoting and increasing cultural diversity in law enforcement, criminal justice, and corrections; providing education to communities of color and women regarding career opportunities within these professions; and assisting law enforcement, education organizations, and corrections agencies in the recruitment of these populations.
LEO also offers individuals an opportunity to apply for scholarship dollars that can assist both students of color and females that are pursuing their academic education in the fields of Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement and corrections.
