Dear Homeschooling Families and Community Leaders,
We invite you and your students to join us at the Youth Mental Health Action Summit on May 21, 2025, at the Lansing Center in Lansing, MI. This year’s theme, "Great Change from the Great Lakes: Driving the Revolution for Youth Mental Wellness," highlights the importance of mental well-being in educational settings, including homeschooling environments.
Event Highlights:
Keynote Panel: Insights from mental health advocates, community leaders, and youth addressing mental health challenges and advocacy.
Interactive Workshops: Topics include self-advocacy, stress management, and breaking barriers to mental health care.
Collaborative Sessions: Youth will engage in discussions with mental health professionals to create supportive communities.
Networking Opportunities: Meet other homeschooling families, mental health experts, and advocates committed to youth well-being.
This is a great opportunity for homeschooled students to engage with their peers and community leaders in meaningful dialogue about mental health and learn practical tools to support themselves and their peers. The event is free to attend, and meals will be provided.
Please RSVP by May 1, 2025. If you have any questions or need additional information, feel free to reach out.
