Daytime ice skating lessons designed to enhance the curriculum of homeschoolers. Instruction follows the United States Figure Skating Associations Basic Skills Curriculum. Classes are 30 minutes of lesson time, 20 minutes of practice time, 10 minutes of music time. Lessons are grouped by age and focus on fundamentals of learning how to ice skate (physical fitness) supplemented with learning that extends outside the traditional classroom (basic laws of physics, imagery, movement, rhythm, and music). This exploration of learning uses the human body as the subject and ice as the medium. Bike helmets are required for ages 7 and under.
