The Humane Rescue Alliance's school programs, shelter tours, and camps target upper elementary and middle school students. Participants learn about our organization, our programs, and how we help animals and the people who love them. Programs, traditionally offered in person, are now offered virtually, providing opportunities for students to learn from our staff, volunteers, other experts, and meet animals up close on their computer screens.
HRA’s humane education programs can be scheduled as virtual visits to classrooms, after-school programs, scout troops, and other youth groups interested in making their community a better place for animals and people. In addition, students, families, and educators are invited to explore HRA’s virtual Animal Academy with online learning lessons, resources and readings, videos, and more.
