Hot Springs Christian Homeschool Co-op meets once a week, starting at the end of August. They take a Winter Break and then resume at the end of January, completing the school year at the end of April. Currently, offering four 50-minute class periods, from 9am to 1:50pm, with an hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm.. There are 8-18 students per class. Younger groups have the fewest students in a classroom (8). The High School has up to 18 students. Currently, the max number of total students allowed is 72. Classes for all grades K-12 as well as a pre-k/nursery.
Only high school students, with approval by the Board, can come to co-op without a parent. There still needs to be a designated parent present at co-op to look after them. Special considerations and arrangements are made and agreed on with the Board. All other students can not come without a parent. Parents stay at co-op and help in some way (as teachers, assistants, or other jobs). This is not a drop-off program.
