Hoofbeats in Harmony's Horsemanship Academy teaches way more than riding. The program covers 6 different dimensions of horsemanship - Horse Care, Riding, Ground Work, Liberty Training, Physical Fitness, and Equine Literature. Students enrolled in the program enjoy working their way through a detailed levels program earning achievement awards when they level up.
Working with horses is an excellent way to get students outside and enjoy nature while learning and making friends. Students who work with horses gain confidence, balance, coordination, empathy, and communication skills.
Classes are available on most weekday evenings, but a special homeschool class is starting up on Friday mornings at 10am. Spots are limited.
