Faewood Equestrian LLC is a horsemanship and horseback riding school in Jeffersontown, KY. They host a homeschool group class for homeschoolers of all ages to come out and learn about horses. Faewood utilizes a three-prong curriculum that will teach students in these areas: the unmounted HorseSense curriculum, where they'll learn barn lessons on horse care and equine knowledge; the mounted Horsemanship curriculum, for riding lessons; and the unmounted HorseCentered curriculum that teaches equine behavior and ground training. Horses are incredible at teaching life lessons like responsibility, hard work, consistency, compassion, service, selflessness, and awareness.
Classes are held weekly, and a semester commitment is required to attend.
