Students in this faith-based Hybrid Homeschool program attend school two days each week. During this time, new concepts are introduced through class discussions, cooperative projects, games and manipulatives. Two days of the week are set aside for learning at home. On the fifth day, field trips, group outings, and Teacher Check-ins are scheduled. Parents and teachers of each grade level meet together at regularly scheduled Teacher Check-ins to discuss innovative homeschooling strategies. While parents are meeting each week, students participate in fun and exciting group STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading/wRiting, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) projects that tie into the leveled curriculum. As students in this Hybrid Homeschool program learn both at school and home, all curriculum is provided to create a smooth learning experience, but there is flexibility in making the curriculum unique for each homeschooler.
