Cope Environmental Center promotes the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources through education, demonstration, and research to inspire and challenge individuals and communities to achieve ecologically sustainable lifestyles to secure a sustainable future for all life on Earth.
CEC strives to educate visitors in our 130 acre outdoor classroom through interactive, hands-on-sustainability and nature-based programming for schools, businesses, and other groups.
CEC demonstrate this “green" lifestyle by giving tours of our Sustainability Education Center that is powered by solar panels, heated by geothermal, and regulated with a digital lighting and temperature system.
