Code Ninjas teaches kids how to code through a games based curriculum. Students use a 9 belt proprietary curriculum which is based on Game Building Platform. Within each belt is a set of skills and at the end of each belt students have to show those learned skills by building a game. The Code Ninjas curriculum is made up of little wins throughout the 2/3 year curriculum. Programs are self paced, but not self taught (Sensies are instructors), system that allow kids to come in up to 2 times a week for up to an hour each time. Mentors teach kids: Concepts, Robotics, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Leadership and Collaboration. The objective is to make kids ‘Build Video Games’ in a fun environment.
Whether or not students pursue coding, computer engineering, or STEM as a career, Code Ninjas wanst to provide kids with skills that will help them pursue their dreams.
