This group has several ways to get support in Maui. From co-ops to field trips to hybrid classes to homeschool coaching, this group can help also point you in the direction of other groups to join on Maui.
Maui Christian Co-op meets once a week on Tuesdays in Central Maui from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. The Co-op has four 7-week quarters. All parents and children are encouraged to attend. There are classes for each age group: babies (not a formal class), preschool, K-3, 4th-6th, and 8th-12th. Moms are committed to teaching classes or helping in the classes in skill-based subjects, knowledge-based subjects, and several different electives.
Maui Christian Homeschool is a part-time homeschool program serving Christian homeschooled students 3 days a week. It is not a Christian school. They offer classes and academic support in Bible, reading, English, math, history, literature, and science and expect parents to uphold the learning goals and provide extra-curricular activities with their students at home 2 days a week. They meet Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 8:30 am to 1:30 pm 28 weeks a year. Full year commitment required. Annual tuition is $3600.
