H.O.P.E. Honoring Our Peers Everyday from Children’s Cancer Network, is a 50-minute interactive program created by educators, parents/siblings of childhood cancer, as well as nurses and child life specialists to help bring awareness to the journey a family travels with childhood cancer.
H.O.P.E. teaches children how to honor their peers through the lens of childhood cancer. Interactive and age appropriate, K-1, 2-3, 4-6 and 7-12 presentations, engage students using education, compassion and a call to action. H.O.P.E. emphasizes building an inclusive environment and honor for all peers. A resource box of pre-and post- activities is available to each family.
