Back Gate Studio offers art classes for ages 5.5-14. Students learn the elements of art, basic art vocabulary, & color theory as they express themselves through their art & learn new skills. Work is in graphite, pastels, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic paint, and collage.
Students are provided a supportive atmosphere for exploring and broadening their creativity. They develop the self-esteem that comes with accomplishment and critical thinking skills to problem solve. Young artists learn to see things with an artist's eye, creating wonderful art to proudly take home!
