Course includes sign vocabulary, manual alphabet and usage, numbers, and expressive and receptive signing activities. The course will also include a history of ASL and facilitate becoming knowledgeable of the aspects of Deaf Culture, an integral part of meaningful language use. Redefining American Sign Language is designed to give students a good basis for signed communication.
