MoneySKILL®
MoneySKILL®, a personal finance course sponsored by the members of the American Financial Services Association, is a highly interactive, reality-based Internet curriculum. "Its purpose is to educate students to make informed financial decisions. The course consists of 34 "How To" modules on income, money management, spending and credit, and saving and investing. The modules are designed to be approximately 40 minutes in length." The course is free and has a built-in grading program so the educator can view the student's progress. Registration is required. This is a FREE resource appropriate for use by students in middle school, high school, or college math classes, especially students in an algebra curriculum. Platonic Solids
There are only five geometric solids that can be made using a regular polygon and having the same number of these polygons meet at each corner. The five Platonic solids (or regular polyhedra) are the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron. Students can learn all about using these worksheets and activities.
