Learning Adventures is a home-based publishing company that provides unit study curriculum guides and accessories for homeschooling families. It is a multi-age unit study that is best utilized if a family has at least one child in grades 4-8. Features:
- 180 days of daily lesson plans in each volume
- A chronological history-based study for grades 4 through 8

There are three curriculum guide volumes in the Learning Adventures series.
Volume One:A World of Adventure is a one year study (180 days) based on World History for grades 4 to 8. It covers all subjects (except math) in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, The Middle Ages,The Renaissance and Reformation, and The Age of Exploration.
Volume Two:A New World of Adventure is a one year study (180 days) based on Early American History for grades 4 to 8. It covers all subjects (except math) in Into a New Land, Life in the Colonies, and Revolution and Beyond. It also includes a study of Canada.
Volume Three:Westward and Onward is a one year study (180 days) based on Early 19th Century American History for grades 4 to 8. It covers all subjects (except math) from Sea to Shining Sea, Over the Mountains, Battling on Land and Sea, Across the Nation, In the South, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Growing Tensions, Into the Midwest, Across the Plains and Beyond, and Along the Trail. It also includes a study of France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland), Greenland, and China.

Cons: A lot to cover per day especially if your kids still need a lot of instruction or you have littles.... I've managed it by splitting 1 day over several or evens whole week.
Grades Used: 1-5... still going
I absolutely LOVE this curriculum, even though it's for older kids I've used it since my kids were k/3. We just slowed it down a lot. Very thorough, hands on and well done!!
