My daughter has been attending Citizens for 1 year... She absolutely loves the school... Here is what she has to say.... I love Citizens bcuz the teachers and staff r so helpful.... The courses r first class and provide an in depth education..... All of my teachers, Dr. Blalock and all of the staff r always approachable and respond to my needs very quickly.... I also love that my teachers and even Dr. Blalock recognize my hard work and send me messages of praise and encouragement.... I know of no other school where even the Cheif Academic Officer, Dr. Jennifer Blalock takes they time to actually follow my progress and send me messages of congratulations??? My name is Ashley and I live in the Philippines, my mother is Filipino and my father is American..... I am very grateful for Citizens High School for providing me courses that r challenging which will lead to my acceptance into an American University.... If u have the drive and discipline to succeed then Citizens can provide u with all the knowledge and support to help u reach ur dreams !!
Cons: All by myselfffff....
Grades Used: Highschool
I used Citizens High School (the actual book correspondence program) when I was a Junior in order to finish out high school that year and start college pre-reqs at the same time. I was coming from public school with an over 4.0 gpa. I think it was an easy enough program to do. It took some time, but I was able to handle it on my own. I loved that it gave you a degree and you got to move out of the way from high school into college. I originally chose the college readiness route, but after I had already completed college algebra just fine, I opted to go for the less credit general program to graduate faster. I graduated in 2011.
