I have several 1000x microscopes with mechanical stages for ease of operation. During the year Biology and Life Science do many microscopic labs as well as several dissections. We offer swimming lessons Monday and Wednesday mornings. The first class is at 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. The classes last for four weeks. They get a total of eight classes. There are many varieties of pick-and-choose teaching co-ops, but ours is the first college preparatory program for homeschoolers in Central Texas. Springs Enrichment Academy (SEA) is broken up into several different class groups according to age, maturity level and/or grade level (K-12). Homeschooled students have the option of taking one full day of enrichment classes or two full days of classes or three (when offered), and, in the upper levels, classes a la carte style. Springs Enrichment Academy values community and a strong relationship between parent/teacher/child. SEA offers seasonal family festivals, game nights, talent shows, potluck dinners and field trips. Parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. Parents attend and/or chaperone field trips. Parents attend class-room performances and/or celebrations. Parents may assist teachers. Some parents choose to teach classes in exchange for tuition. Parents are expected to support and assist with at-home projects, after school rehearsals and/or presentations, and home-work.
