The Basic Cozy Grammar Course review by Eddie - The Usual Mayhem

Pros: Gentle, thorough, enjoyable to watch

Cons: None that we’ve found!

I have been homeschooling for 8 years. Each of my children learns differently, and of the many grammar courses we’ve tried this is the only one that they can all agree on.

The video is gentle and classical music (thoughtfully listed for you on the cd) plays in the background. Marie, the teacher in the video, is down-to-earth, and speaks slowly and clearly. It’s like a visit from your favourite aunt or grandma!

The package includes worksheets that you can print for each lesson to reinforce what your child has just learned, but even if you don’t use them your kids will pick up and retain the information.

The price is high…..and worth every penny. I can’t recommend this program highly enough, and its companion program The Cozy Grammar.

The Basic Cozy Grammar Course combines a daily video lesson with a worksheet to reinforce the lesson. It is a painless way for any parent to teach grammar, and the lessons are bite-sized to keep student frustration or boredom to a minimum. The course contains two indexed DVDs featuring: an Introduction, Tutorials, a Conclusion and, a Reproducible Companion Workbook on CD, featuring: lesson overviews, exercises, tests, and answer key. The website also has a free spelling course.
