Pros: good material

Cons: can be a bit dry

Grades Used: 3,4,5,6

Good basic root word material, but can be a bit dry, if just writing out the cards. Come up with some creative ways to suppliment this. Try using with Quizlet.com

This lay-flat book teaches 100 Latin and Greek roots. This curriculum includes a new Latin pronunciation guide, word definitions, and teaching notes. The instructions are appropriate for elementary through high school grades. There is no special preparation required for instructors.
